About Us

Meet The Therapists

Massage therapy does more than make you feel good, it contributes to your health in a positive way! Massage therapy offers a treatment approach which relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our clinic provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is complimentary to chiropractic care and physical therapy treatments. Each massage therapy plan is tailored to meet the patient's unique pain condition or injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include the increase of blood circulation, lymphatic (swelling) drainage, and a localized reduction in swelling and the relaxation of muscles. Finally, massage has been been touted to relieve muscle pain and spasms, increase a patient's range of motion, while also aiding in a patient's recovery.

Crossroads' "Sensational Soft-Tissue Squad" pride themselves on delivering professional treatments, that are effective and comfortable.

Rose Melnychuk RMT

Rose Melnychuk knew she wanted to become a therapist many years ago, but life took a short detour with her getting married and having two strapping boys. Not one to shy away from a challenge, she started working towards her dream, graduating from the Western College of Remedial Massage Therapy in 2014.

Rose is very dedicated to the therapeutic work she does for her clients. As long as she is making them feel better and getting them back to function, that’s all she needs!!  She enjoys performing Pregnancy Treatments, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Cupping. Rose has taken a doula course, and recently she took an interesting course in providing care for cancer patients.

During her down time, she enjoys spending time with the family, fishing, painting, and attending Rider games with her buddies.

Ms. Melnychuk is certified by MTAS and is delighted to accept RCMP, SGI, WCB and pregnant patients.

Mary Boys RMT

Mary joined the Crossroads team in 2016 after working for 3 and a half years in a spa setting, providing relaxation massage and body wrap treatments. Yeah, we thought that was lame as well, and knew Mary could accomplish greater things in life. Mary has really enjoyed the transition from relaxation massage to deep tissue therapy and has adjusted well from a spa setting to a clinic setting. She appreciates being able to see improvements in her patients through a regular treatment plan! In her free time you can find Mary spending time with her dogs! Mary speaks Labrador and Terrier, understands but does not speak Rottweiler or Weimaraner. Mary is certified by MTAS and accepts patients for SGI, WCB and RCMP members!

Anya Le Cren M.P.H, RMT

(Anya is on Maternity leave 2023) an internationally educated massage therapist with 14 years of experience in Europe and North America. She has worked in both Spas and Medical Clinics providing therapeutic treatments. This includes deep tissue and relaxation massage, as well as hot stone and aromatherapy massage.

Raised in Busko-Zdrój, Poland, Anna worked hard to establish a career for herself. She excelled academically and was able to successfully run her own business. In January 2013, she accepted a job in Canada working as a massage therapist at a Spa at Manitou Beach, in Watrous. Love brought her to Regina and she started practicing at Crossroads in September 2016.

Anna is very adventurous and loves to travel. She enjoys cooking traditional Polish dishes and is always eager to try any of the outdoor activities Canada has to offer, now with a little one in tow!

Anna has a bachelor's and master's degree in Public Health from Europe, finished her Saskatchewan massage training, and is a registered member of MTAS. She is fluent in both Polish, English, and knows several ways to pronounce bratwurst.

Tasos Panagiotopoulos RMT

Although Tasos has a hard name to pronounce, he is very easy-going! Soft tissue treatments are Tasos true passion, but his oratory skills and mysterious accent thrills audiences, whether he is discussing muscles, or life in the Greek islands. Tasos finished his training in 2019 at Western College of Remedial Massage and moved his practice from Wascana Remedial to Crossroads. Mr. Panagiotopoulos is studying for certification for Sports Massage Therapist (Sp.MT), as well as a Registered Trigenics™ Practitioner. Not one to sit still, he is working to attain a McGill Method Provider designation in order to treat difficult back pain cases. Out of the clinic, he is interested in aviation, technolgy and cheering for the wrong team in sport. Tasos has his MTAS designation and will accept SGI, WCB and RCMP patients.

Jaime Parrott RMT

Crossroads is thrilled to have Jaime Parrott on our team! Jaime brings her positive attitude and expertise to Crossroads. We are spoiled when she brings her gourmet snacks for the lunch room! She worked on the East side of Regina for several years, but decided to bring her soft tissue talents up to sunny North West Regina! Jaime graduated from massage therapy college in 2010, and has been a member in good standing with MTAS since then, which surprises most of her family. Jaime has many hobbies, but some are forced upon her by her son, who is REALLY into fishing. Being a good sport, she has been seen standing in cold rivers up to her armpits, and gently caressing 85 year old fish. What a great mom!

She will accept RCMP and SGI clientele and welcomes her old patients, as well as new ones.

Gabriel Croswell RMT

Gabe joined us in early 2020 right before the world went all pandemic on us, and we shut down for a while. We are glad that he is back to work and building his practice here. A small town guy, Gabe grew up in the town of Grayson. We picked up on this right away, due to his Grayson accent. When not in the clinic, Gabe loves to be on the ice playing hockey, or playing hooky with fishing.

He enjoys deep back and shoulder treatments and will always keep talking unless you tell him to shut up! (He told us to write that). Gabe has his MTAS designation, and has added SGI and WCB patients to his RCMP clientele. His mother is happy that this is the only reason he is regularly contacted by the police. Gabe is currently accepting new patients, even if you are not an officer of the peace.

Dawn Schroeder RMT

After some life altering events, Dawn decided in 2016 to make a career change. No, it was not Oprah going off the air that initiated the change, it was something different. She knew she wanted to do something in the medical/therapeutic field, and her love of helping people steered her towards massage therapy. Juggling family obligations and putting her circus career on hold, she graduated from WCRMT in 2018. Although she dreamed of laying on the beach, she instead started practicing in the health care industry, at a couple different clinics in Regina.  They were more  holistic and into the relaxation vibe, and not a great fit for a therapeutically-minded gal.   Dawn knew she wanted a clinical setting, doing restorative or rehabilitative work.   The Covid situation allowed a hard reset on her new career, and helped her decide where she wanted to work and the type of people she wanted to work with. After much badgering from one of the owners, she moved her practice to Crossroads! Dawn has been a great fit at Crossroads, and we look forward to her sharp wit, her tips on Fantasy Football, and upcoming Dolly Parton Karaoke at the Office Christmas Party.

Dawn is certified in Jadestone Massage and upper body Rapid Neurofascial Reset.  Dawn is the proud mama of three kids and a spoiled golden doodle named Wrigley. Do not ask her about the dog, or you will regret it! When she is not at Crossroads you may find her listening to true crime podcasts, cooking, playing fantasy football (Don’t bet against her), watching the large streaming services, and watching Friends.

Stephen Abrametz RMT

Little Stephen grew up deep in the remote Parkland forests, dreaming of being a boxer. The smell of cardboard and packing tape always soothed him as a baby, and he excitedly grabbed Amazon boxes from his Baba to play with. After high school, Stephen attended University of Regina for Kinesiology and was introduced to human function through movement. He studied with a keen eye, the different sports, injuries, and usage of muscles. He fell in love with boxing, as the name was very similar to his first love. After graduating from university 2016 with a Bachelor in Kinesiology, Stephen decided that the best way he could help people was through massage therapy, as it was too late for him to be a pro boxer.

Stephen has his MTAS accreditation, and performs different types of modalities ranging from Swedish massage, Trigger point Therapy, and Deep Tissue massage therapy, to RAPID Neurofascial Reset and Soft Tissue Release. Recently, he has shown a special interest in BOWEN Therapy, where he has finished his certification training. It is a lighter style of treatment that works on fascia and energy lines. Aside from massage therapy Stephen enjoys working out, spending time with his family and, of course, watching boxing.

Alex Roy RMT

After a successful career in the automotive sector, but a failed bid for show biz, Alex came to a crossroads in life. Should he make a bid to become the Patrick Swayze of Pilot Butte, or work in health care? Thankfully,  for the citizens of Northwest Regina, Alex chose to follow the call of the soft tissue muse. He thus embarked on a path of muscular enlightenment and entered massage school.

Alex  recently graduated with honours of distinction at Prairie College of Massage in Regina. He is very passionate about  helping others to address their physical needs through massage and exercise to improve their quality of life. Outside the clinic, Alex can be found riding his skateboard or hanging out with his dog Duke. Since he turned his back on Swayze, perhaps he can be the next Tony Hawk? Alex has NHPC accreditation and can treat RCMP patients.

Megan Congdon-McLaughlin RMT

Megan's dream of becoming a professional stunt woman came to an end when she developed a serious hangnail that would not go away. This made her contemplative, and she then pondered life's serious questions at university in Sackville. It should be noted that this has nothing to do with the Roughrider's offensive line, but is a city in Atlantic Canada. While writing essays for her university education, she developed a tenosynovitis injury of her first metacarpal region. Unlike her hangnail, it responded well to soft tissue therapies and exercise, which had young Megan wondering, "do other musculoskeletal injuries respond in such a manner?" Fast forward three more years, and our budding philosopher has graduated with her Massage Therapy Diploma from Algonquin College in Ottawa. She truly found her calling!

Since 2014, Megan has worked with all sorts of muscles, in exotic locations like physiotherapy clinics or chiropractic clinics, and sometimes in places with strange accents, like Ontario. There she was a member of the CMTO (College of Massage Therapist of Ontario).  Here in Saskatchewan, Megan is a member of MTAS and will gladly treat SGI, WCB and RCMP!

Throughout Megan’s career as an RMT, she has worked with many different types of injuries and conditions such as whiplash, frozen shoulder and concussions, just like the days from stunting. Megan likes to have a little bit of a challenge to keep her knowledge from school still sharp! Megan’s style of treatment is therapeutic with deeper pressure, but will work with the tissue and treat accordingly.

Megan, her husband and two sons moved to Regina little over a year ago, so feel free to share exciting things to do in the Western Provinces and in return Megan will share wealth of knowledge for the maritimes. Once a maritimer always a maritimer!
